Learn to play Slipknot’s Psychosocial from a POV perspective

Slipknot’s Psychosocial arrived with All Hope is Gone in 2008, and it’s had guitarists the world over trying to jam along ever since. For those still looking to learn it, I’ve just created a new POV guitar lesson video – with screen tabs – so you can see exactly how your fingers and hands should look as you play it. Beware, though, the guitar solo is not for the faint-hearted, and I certainly spent my fair share of hours getting it nailed down.

Psychosocial obviously needs no further introduction, but you can remind yourself of its classic music video below.

If you’re a beginner guitarist looking to kickstart your musical journey, I’ve just launched a brand-new online guitar school, The Sightline Guitar Academy.

And to kick things off, I’ve launched a comprehensive guitar course for beginners, showcasing all the essential techniques you’ll need to get started with rock and metal music, from a POV perspective. This means you’ll be able to see exactly how your fingers and hands should look as you play, dramatically decreasing your learning time. For more information, head to the Sightline Guitar Academy.

P.S. I’ll let you into a little secret: You can get 25% off the whole course – that’s 22 in-depth technique videos – using the code LAUNCH25 at checkout. Don’t wait. You can jumpstart your playing today for just £36 (approx $43).
